MUSIC DIRECTION / accompaniment
As a music director, pianist, and conductor, I have worked on projects of every size and genre. From accompanying auditions to conducting a full orchestra, I have worked with professional and community companies to help bring their musical visions to life. My training as an actor allows me to connect to performers on a deep level and adapt my vocabulary to suit each person's preferences. I am a strong sight-reader, having played many auditions in NYC and around the country, and have collaborated with individual performers and groups to help them create cabarets and revues based on a theme.
Vocal coaching / lessons
As a singer and former actor, I have experience not only teaching others, but also being taught. My experience as a singer allows me to connect with my voice students on a deeper level, ensuring each lesson is a safe and comfortable environment for you to grow your voice and explore different ways to achieve your goals. I have experience in Bel Canto and Estill vocal techniques and always work to help connect the voice to the story of the song. Whether preparing for an audition, finding new rep for your audition book, or working on a role in a show, I can help you strengthen your voice and music skills to go above and beyond what you thought you could do.
arranging /
orchestration
While many songs already have a piano part, sometimes you want something else - more instruments, a new groove, or a total reimagining of the material. All of this falls under orchestration and arranging, and I have experience writing for cabarets, revues, full shows, and one-off concerts, as well as choirs and a cappella groups. While my speciality lies in vocal arranging and rhythm section writing, I have written for bands and orchestras with dozens of players including jazz and classical groups. I love finding new ways to communicate the same musical ideas across multiple instruments or coming up with new ideas based on existing material.

I have created scores for everything from single piano-vocal songs to fully orchestrated arrangements and I specialize in creating sheet music for new musicals - see some examples here of how I can transform a composer's draft into industry-standard sheets, customized to each show. While each project is unique, I apply my high standards of precision and care to everything I create.
